I want to take a moment to alert all of my clients about a recent email scam that has been circulating. Scammers are sending emails claiming that your website may not be compliant and could be taken offline. To make the emails look more convincing, they are even copying my Wix Marketplace profile picture and information. (See Image below)

Here are a few key ways to recognize these scam emails:

  1. Check the sender’s email address. These messages often come from fake Gmail accounts, not from my official email. My official email is: contact@td23online.com and will come from "William Taylor"

Look for spelling and grammar mistakes. Scam emails are often poorly written.

  3. Review the signature line. If an email is truly from me, it will always include my full contact information in the signature.

Remember: I will never send you an email soliciting additional work or services.

If an email feels suspicious, trust your instincts—if it doesn’t look quite right, it probably is a scam.

If you receive any of these emails, please forward them to: reportphishing@wix.com and for Gmail, please follow these instructions on how to report it:

Report an email as phishing

  1. On a computer, go to Gmail.

  2. Open the message.

  3. Next to Reply , click More .

  4. Click Report phishing.

When in doubt, please contact me directly before taking any action. Your security and peace of mind are always my priority.
